CHICAGO — On the fifth anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s death, a national wave of resistance is sweeping across the country once again, and Chicago is preparing to take center stage.
With more than 1,500 coordinated actions planned nationwide, this Thursday marks a significant day of remembrance and resistance. Titled “Good Trouble Lives On,” the mass mobilization honors the enduring legacy of John Lewis, the civil rights legend who famously urged Americans to get into “good trouble” in the fight for justice.
