CHICAGO - There’s growing tension in Chicago as the city prepares for the upcoming 'No Kings' protest this weekend, with warnings that ICE agents might be deployed. This is causing concern among immigrant communities and neighbors across Illinois.

This Saturday, many people are expected to gather peacefully at Daley Plaza for the large 'No Kings' demonstration and to celebrate the election of Chicago-born Pope Leo XIV at Guaranteed Rate Field. But beneath these plans, there's a lot of uncertainty. Reports suggest federal ICE tactical teams could be heading into Chicago.
